Studio FAQs
Who can take lessons?
My private lessons are geared towards students age 5 and older, as well as adult students. Young students may come in for a trial lesson to see if they are ready to learn an instrument.
How often are lessons?
Lessons occur every week at your scheduled day and time. Depending on the age and level of the student, lessons are offered in 30, 45, or 60 minute sessions.
How important is practice?
Consistent practice is key to long-term musical growth! I will help your child (or you) learn strategies to make practicing efficient and fun. We also do at least two practice incentives or challenges throughout the school year for extra motivation.
When will my student perform?
We have two studio recitals per school year in order to showcase student growth and achievement. In addition, we have many other fun events including a Halloween Spooktacular, occasional group lessons, and community performances.
